Weekend 3:
May 31st 2-4:30 pm: Yin Yoga & Aromatherapy
Discover the deep yin tissues of the body relative to the superficial yang tissues of muscles and skin. This practice is designed for you to work with restorative postures. Yin Yoga opens up deep, dense, and rarely explored areas within your connective tissues and muscles. Enjoy and learn the basic significance of aromatherapy and how to incorporate these powerful scents into your yoga practice and daily life.
June 1st 2-4:30 pm: Conclusion
Participants will be encouraged to present a creative demonstration that incorporates what they have learned.
You will also experience an engaged "sleep" where the body and mind let go in order to relax, restore and rejuvenate.

Shadow Yoga Courses

Level 1
Thursdays 6:30-7:45pm
May 22nd - June 19th

Level 2
Wednesdays 6:30-7:45pm
May 21st - June 19th

Cost: $55 per course
Pre-registration is required.

Level 1
The first form of Shadow Yoga Balakrama or 'Step Into Strength' (Balakrama) will be taught in progression. The sequence is a combination of stances and movements that act as a prelude for asana-vinyasa. Through the practice of this form, the relationship between even breath and fluid movement will be developed, while body and mind work together to find steadiness and elasticity.
Beginners and experienced yoga students are encouraged to take this course.


Level 2
The second form of Shadow Yoga, ‘Opening the Shadow’ (Chaya Vivaranam) will be introduced. This course is intended to continue your current practice and understanding of the Shadow Yoga format. You are welcome to attend if you have completed at least one Level 1 Course.
